What is CranioSacral Therapy?

CranioSacral Therapy is a light touch, manual therapy concerned with improving the form of the body; particularly the central nervous system, so that the body as a whole can function better.

Think of the body as woven biological fabric which is one continuous structure head to toe so that if any part is twisted, stretched or compressed- the entire body would be affected.  Trauma, such as a fall, car accident, whiplash, surgery or just habitual poor posture and repetitive stress injuries has cumulative effects on the body.

CranioSacral Therapy allows the practitioner to look at each patient as a unique individual. One-on-one therapy sessions are hands-on treatments during which the practitioner uses a multitude of CranioSacral and Myofascial techniques and movement therapy. We promote independence through education in proper body mechanics and movement, self treatment instruction, enhancement of strength, improved flexibility, and postural and movement awareness.
